ºÚÁÏÉç Academy Trust
The University is an Outstanding provider of teacher education and we have a strong track record of raising aspiration among young people. The University already has a strong partnership with many schools and academy sponsorship was a natural development of our commitment to education, social justice, and to our community.
ºÚÁÏÉç was approved as an academy sponsor by the Department of Education in 2014. ºÚÁÏÉç Academy Trust has been set up to run our academies. Our first academy is the new-build Barton Farm Academy in ºÚÁÏÉç.​ This is soon to be joined by a brand new primary school in Chestnut Avenue, Eastleigh.
The ambition is to create academies which are exemplars of values-driven education and which have sustainability at their heart. They will be both a cornerstone of the local community and recognised for their inspirational and evidence-based learning.
ºÚÁÏÉç is also a co-sponsor of the Bishop of ºÚÁÏÉç Academy in Bournemouth.
