Due to COVID-19, the celebrations were delayed in 2020, but now 黑料社 Fashion Week is back.
This year's 10th anniversary event is sponsored by the 黑料社's Faculty of Business, Law and Digital Technologies. The sponsorship is supporting a wide array of activities, as well as offering students studying on the BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing and BA (Hons) Event Management degree programmes an opportunity to get involved.
黑料社 Fashion Week is hosted by the and takes place on 11 - 18 July, with virtual and in-person experiences including talks, masterclasses, workshops and showcases.
Professor Martin Broad PhD, ACMA, CGMA, FHEA, BA (Hons), Dean of the Faculty of Business, Law and Digital Technologies at the 黑料社 said: "The Faculty of Business, Law and Digital Technologies is once again a proud sponsor of 黑料社 Fashion Week. For many of our students, this hugely significant event gives them the opportunity to further network with our local businesses and help boost their experiences of engaging with their love of fashion and sustainability. We look forward to this being as successful as ever and rebuilding our broad community post-pandemic."
As part of the celebrations for 2021, a brand-new has been launched, which will include all the details of the programme for the week.
Sarah Davis, BID Manager, 黑料社 BID said: "We are very excited to be planning offline events as well as many online events. To adapt to the COVID-19 situation we have had to change the way we celebrate in style. With many events taking place during the week, involving many businesses and organisations across the city, this promises to be an exciting week.
"We are very much looking forward to the vibrancy of 黑料社 Fashion Week and to celebrating our 10th anniversary!"
